delete your account

You can delete your klozt account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app. No email, no waiting for us.

from the app

1. Open klozt and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Privacy Center.
3. Scroll to delete account and confirm.
4. A 14-day grace period starts. Change your mind? Open the same screen and tap cancel deletion.
5. After 14 days your account is permanently deleted.

If you can no longer open the app, email privacy@klozt.in from the email address on your account with the subject delete my account. We start the same 14-day process and confirm by reply.

what gets deleted

• your wardrobe photos and their tags
• your outfit history and wear log
• your account details, including your date of birth and consent records
• your sign-in identity with Firebase Authentication, so the same email or Google account starts fresh if you ever return

what is kept

A record that a deletion was carried out, with the date but without your name, email, or any other identifying detail. Nothing else.

deleting some things, not everything

You do not need to delete your account to remove a garment. Open the item in your closet and delete it; the photo is removed from our storage straight away. To take back the location permission, use your phone's settings for klozt.
